Nepal situation very serious: Commonwealth

KATHMANDU, Feb 15 - Describing the situation in Nepal as "very very serious", Commonwealth has said last week's civic elections were "just not credible" and asked the government to involve people to restore democracy.
"The situation in Nepal is very very serious," the online edition of Times of India quoted Commonwealth Secretary General Don McKinnon as saying in New Delhi on Tuesday.

"We want to see tensions and tempers reduced. For too long now, there has been high level of antagonism in the country," said the head of the 53-nation organisation who is in India on a three-day tour.
