Venus Jupiter conjunction

(Dec 1 2008 at 2:45) On the evening of Monday, 1st December, 2008, a rare conjunction between Jupiter, the biggest planet of our solar system and the Venus, the brightest planet along with the beautiful crescent Moon in the sky can be seen in the South-west direction after Sunset according the Nepali Standard Time (NST).The same event will happen again in 2011A.D.
People all over Nepal can enjoy this rare and beautiful celestial event with naked eyes if weather permit.

To mark this rare and beautiful celestial event, Nepal Astronomical Society, NASO, has arranged an observation programe at NAST premises today. We would like to invite all the interested persons who are interested to observe this event at the following programme.

Time: 5p.m.-7p.m.
