India failed to take timely action in Nepal: BJP President

Kashipur, (Uttaranchal), Apr 24: BJP President Rajnath Singh has said that failed to take timely steps in which was witnessing an agitation for restoration of democracy.

He also expressed concern over growing Chinese influence in through Maoists and wanted the centre to remain vigilant about growing Maoist activities.

Talking to reporters last evening after his 'Rath Yatra' reached here, Singh was critical of the 'growing influence' of the Left parties on the country's foreign policy.

On infiltration from , he wanted a law to be enacted to identify and deport illegal immigrants from that country.

Singh was also critical of the Congress Government in Uttaranchal, which, he alleged, failed to develop infrastructure facilities for tourist and religious tourist places.
